What

For many years now my mum has been talking about her trips to Ethiopia and i have always wished to join her and now i finaly can. My family and a group of about 15 other people are off to Addis Ababa capital of Ethiopia to help the local people and for a fantastic experience. You can keep coming back to this blog and catch up on the latest and found out how its all going.

The Start

Well its not long now until we go to Ethiopia and all is going well. We have been collecting clothes, books, games and toys for the children out there. While we are there we plan to do many things. We plan to spend one week working at St Mathews Library with the children snd young Adults and the other traveling and exploring Ethiopia seeing sites such as the famous monoastries and rock hewn churchs in the North of Ethiopia and viseting charities . I know i want to work with the children in the library helping with English, Maths and science but the others in our group plan to spend time with the older students and Adults in the library and to teach and work with them. There are also some people going who are good with computers are plan to help set up a working computer for them in the library. An other thing some people will go on is a trip to a care home for disabled children and work with them, playing games and having fun with them. I really can't wait until Saturday 13th October the day we are due to fly and when i come back i will be full of stories and adventures to tell my friends and family.

Pray

Please could we ask you to pray for us as we travel and work in Ethiopia.
Could you pray for
-Safe travel
-That everyone has a safe 10 days there
-That the work we do will be benefit all
-That we had connect with the children and that they will be keen to learn
-That we all benefit from the experience

-For our visas
-for everyones health in the group, that we may all be hale and hearty and have a blessed time in Ethiopia.
-That we will have a great time and really enjoy the whole experience.

If you could remember us in your prayers
Thank you
